Colne Valley Lodge is proud to have provided financial support towards a new road safety initiative at Wellhouse Junior & Infants School.
The funding has enabled the school to introduce its own team of “Parking Buddies,” designed to help control parking issues around the school during drop-off and pick-up times. This initiative aims to improve safety for pupils and families by reducing the hazards caused by inconsiderate and illegal parking.
The school has already seen the positive impact of similar schemes in neighbouring areas, and thanks to the Lodge’s contribution, they are now able to implement this safety measure locally.
The Friends of Wellhouse Junior & Infants School expressed their gratitude, saying:
