The Pink Ribbon Foundation has expressed gratitude to members and guests of the Colne Valley Masonic Lodge, for their incredible generosity during a recent fundraising event.
The Lodge’s Ladies Evening, held at The Colne Valley Masonic Lodge in Slaithwaite, raised an impressive £1,446, which has been donated to the Foundation. The donation will contribute to the vital work of supporting individuals affected by breast cancer.
In a letter addressed to Adrian and Emma Plowman, Jonathan Prince MBE, Chair of the Trustees at the Pink Ribbon Foundation, shared his appreciation. “We are delighted to have received a wonderfully generous donation… Please on our behalf would you say a very big thank you to all the participants and, of course, yourselves for this kindness,” he wrote.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation highlighted the importance of this contribution, noting that breast cancer impacts one in seven women. Donations like this ensure that the charity can continue its mission of assisting individuals recovering from or living with breast cancer. The event also featured thoughtful touches, including the gifting of Pink Ribbon badges to attendees.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is dedicated to providing practical and emotional support for those affected by breast cancer. The organisation relies heavily on donations from events like the Colne Valley Masonic Lodge’s Ladies Evening to carry out its life-changing work.
